Emperor's Sunrise in Tiananmen Square

Here are some recent images of the "Emperor's Sunrise" outside the Canadian Pavilion in Tiananmen Square in China. We also have another jade river boulder that will be found inside the Pavilion that will be for sale, as well as the bar in the Pavilion is screened with jade tiles that will be for sale as well.

Polar Pride Boulder

Polar Pride is the world largest pure gem quality jade boulder ever found, weighing 18 tones. It was found in 2001 at our Polar Mines found in Northern British Columbia near Dease Lake. Over a year ago we sold Polar Pride and it is now being carved in Northern Thailand into a large Jade Buddha. Once it is finished being carved in the next couple months it will tour around Asia and Australia before residing in Bendigo, Australia. Canadian Pavilion in Beijing

Kirk is currently over in Beijing visiting the Canadian Pavilion where we are going to have our jade on display. There will be the Emperors Sunrise which will be in the entrance way of the Pavilion, a river boulder that will be inside the Pavilion as well as the bar will have jade tiles in the front of the bar. We will use this site to list new and exciting jade events from around the world. One exciting new project is found on famed Vancouver sculptor, George Pratt's web site listed below. What began as a Museum Speciman entitled the "THE EMPEROR'S STONE" toured Europe for two years has now become the showpiece of the Canadian Pavilion for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
