It was found in 2001 at our Polar Mines found in Northern British Columbia near Dease Lake. Over a year ago we sold Polar Pride and it is now being carved in Northern Thailand into a large Jade Buddha. Once it is finished being carved in the next couple months it will tour around Asia and Australia before residing in Bendigo, Australia. One exciting new project is found on famed Vancouver sculptor, George Pratt's web site listed below. What began as a Museum Speciman entitled the "THE EMPEROR'S STONE" toured Europe for two years has now become the showpiece of the Canadian Pavilion for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. George has transformed this massive piece of Polar Jade and it has been renamed the "EMPEROR' SUNRISE".
