We were lucky to meet up with colored stone employee Scott Stepanski in Las Vegas at the GLDA show in May. He saw our Koru display and new it would make an excellent feature in the upcoming Fall issue "The Joys of Jade". When we sent Colored Stone one of our Korus to photograph they liked it so much they decided to put it on there cover.
We have also received many compliments from people who have seen the article and contacted us. One email in particular stood out to all of us:
"When I saw your beautiful sculpture on the cover of colored stone magazine, volume 21, septemer/october 2008, I was awed!!! To see this beautiful creation carved out of the rough stone is so beautiful. To show the natural stone and then what is inside reminds me of our outer shell, which can sometimes be rough, but on the inside is so beautiful. The beauty inside us sometimes may have to be "carved out", but it is so beautiful and that beauty inside us is from a 'master creator!!!". Thank you. I hope to see some of your beautiful creations in person and I can feel it's powerful spirit already. How I would love to learn this art!. Thank you."
